Dear MaxMind,

I am current user of who's.amung.us widgets - they use maps you provide them. I noticed that FYROM is being shown as "Macedonia" against UN resolutions. This is not only a very sensitive topic, for us Greeks (the real Macedonians), but also promotes historical and cultural forgery from FYROM along with irredentism claims against Greece (and other neighbor countries). Many Greek bloggs / websites will stop using your widgets/services unless you immediately correct this error.
This email will be forwarded to the Greek ministry of trade and the appropriate EU office.

The international location databases we primarily use are sourced from Maxmind (maxmind.com) you will have to contact them and inquire about the naming.

Ακόμη μια υπηρεσία στο διαδίκτυο που χρησιμοποιεί το όνομα Μακεδονία για την ΠΓΔΜ. Όσο πιο πολλοί στείλουμε μυνήματα διαμαρτυρίας, τόσοι πιο σύντομα θα το αλλάξουν.
